HISTORY OF OUR CHURCH

January 1998.  A group of believers with a pioneering spirit and members of the Bayanan SDA Church located at Imus, Cavite, Philippines started to gather and hold Sabbath Services at the house of Bro. Norlito Sacro.  The Bayanan SDA Church Board under the leadership of Bro. Romy Doctolero has finally approved their request.  This group consisting of more or less five families includes Sis. Judith Ciubal, Catipay family, Cusap Family, Mirasol Family, Sis. Ruth Kaimo and others who are residents of Bahayang Pag-Asa  subdivision and other neighboring villages, saw the need of a church in this vicinity.

As the community became progressive, more and more people came to this small church and eventually became members.

The members became dedicated workers for the Lord.  With the guidance of the Lord, they were all involved in spreading the Gospel.  Evangelistic efforts such as Bible study groups, evangelism, voice of prophecy class, etc. were conducted.  God saw their efforts and blessed the church with His goodness and mercy.  Soon more people were baptized.

Today, the church is located in its new address and a bigger building is under construction. Every Sabbath the church overflows with believers, interests and visitors who come regularly to experience the warmth fellowship of the brethren and the blessings of God. The Seventh-day Adventist Church (Buhay na Tubig) strongly believes the Bible passage in Psalm 23:6-"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

The church is still undergoing construction.  It is in need of generous people who can give liberally to support
the completion of the church.  Many people who are still in the dark would soon see the light because you allow yourself to be an instrument in finishing God's work.  Brethren, the work ahead is still huge but
with God nothing is impossible.
